Dear Jack:

	I see no inaccuracy in your statement either about what happened or
about my point of view, except possibly that the Soviet objection was to you
as panel chairman rather than as a panel member.  However, I wasn't there.

	I still think that it is better to go to the Soviet Union and put
up some kind of fight for human rights than not to go at all.
